Estimated Delivery Checker ("we", "our", or "the App") is committed to protecting the privacy of merchants and buyers. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you install and use our Shopify application.

2. Information We Collect

We collect and store only the minimal technical information required to provide the core functionality of the App:

Merchant Configuration: Settings configured in the App dashboard such as processing days, transit times, cutoff hours, holiday calendars, and widget styling preferences.
Shop Identification: Store domain (e.g., myshopify.com domain) and API access tokens needed to authenticate and deliver the app embed blocks.

No Buyer Personal Data: Our App does NOT collect, store, or process personal identifiable information (PII) of your store's buyers or customers (such as names, physical addresses, email addresses, or payment details).

3. How We Use Information

The information collected is used solely to:

Calculate and render estimated delivery dates and cutoff countdown timers on merchant storefronts.
Save merchant widget design customizations and delivery rules.
Authenticate app sessions in accordance with Shopify security standards.

4. Data Sharing & Security

We do not sell, rent, or trade merchant or customer data with any third parties. All communication between the merchant store, the App, and Shopify servers is encrypted using standard Transport Layer Security (TLS/HTTPS).

5. GDPR and Data Rights (Compliance Webhooks)

We fully respect and comply with Shopify's mandatory GDPR compliance webhooks:

Customer Data Request: Upon request, we verify that no personal customer records are stored.
Customer Data Erase (Redact): Since no customer personal data is collected or retained, no customer records remain in our database.
Shop Data Erase (Redact): Upon app uninstallation and request, all store-specific configuration records are deleted.
